This Privacy Policy explains how Logia Research Ltd (“Logia Research”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit logiaresearch.com or interact with us. We are the data controller for the personal data we process about you, and we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not required to do so under Art. 37 UK GDPR. The senior person responsible for privacy compliance is the co-founder, who can be contacted at the address above.
2. Personal data we collect
- Direct enquiries. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Technical data. When you visit the site, we (and our processors) may receive your IP address, browser and device information, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP. Most of this is collected only with your consent through cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.
3. How we use your personal data and our lawful bases
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to general enquiries you send us | (f) Legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) |
| Operating, securing, and improving the website | (f) Legitimate interests (running our business safely and effectively) |
| Analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics) | (a) Consent — given through the cookie banner |
| Marketing cookies and the HubSpot tracking script | (a) Consent — given through the cookie banner |
| Sending follow-up communications about our services after an assessment application | (a) Consent (where you opt in via the form) or (f) legitimate interests (where you are an existing prospect or client) |
| Complying with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations | (c) Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have carried out a balancing test and concluded that our interests do not override your rights and freedoms. You can ask for a copy of that assessment by contacting us.
4. Who we share your data with
- HubSpot, Inc. (United States) — provides the forms, CRM, and tracking functionality used on this site. HubSpot acts as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement. See HubSpot’s DPA.
- Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts the website and provides Vercel Analytics. Vercel acts as our processor under their Data Processing Agreement.
- Google LLC(United States) — provides Google reCAPTCHA, which is loaded by HubSpot to protect the assessment form against spam and abuse. When the form loads, Google receives technical signals about your visit (IP address, device, browser, mouse / touch movements). Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, insurers) where strictly necessary, and law enforcement / regulators where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
5. International transfers
HubSpot and Vercel are headquartered in the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on one of the following safeguards under UK GDPR Art. 46:
- the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is self-certified; or
- the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum.
You can request a copy of the safeguards in place by contacting us at [email protected].
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because they are required to operate the site. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you give us consent through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
7. How long we keep your data
- Prospect records: up to 36 months from the date of your last interaction with us, after which we delete or anonymise the record unless we are required to keep it for longer.
- Client records and engagement files: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years, to meet professional, tax, and contractual record-keeping obligations.
- Cookie data: as set out in the Cookie Policy. The longest cookie we set lasts no more than 13 months.
- General correspondence: up to 24 months from the last reply.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased in certain circumstances (Art. 17);
- restrict our processing of your data (Art. 18);
- data portability for data you provided us under consent or contract (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing — we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
Helpline: 0303 123 1113

We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
10. Whether providing data is required
You are not legally required to give us personal data. If you do not provide the information requested in the assessment form (such as your name, work email, and firm), we will not be able to review your application or provide the assessment service. Browsing the site does not require you to give us any personal data, although strictly necessary cookies will still be set.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, vendor due diligence, and incident response procedures. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the ICO where required if a personal data breach occurs.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the website or by email where appropriate.
